I was wondering if he still needed the bloodline. Still, I don’t think it’s going to be that easy for Lust. Mal is a whole lot tougher, and way smarter, than he acts.
Well, there are quite a few ways to bring this smug bully to his knees…
ONE- Greed was willing to strike a deal with Harry, and he did instruct them to use the pipe. So Greed may try to rebel against Lust.
TWO – Lust murdered Acedia, who was the human embodiment of Sloth. And I’m sure Sloth won’t appreciate being woken up just to be robbed of her powers.
THREE – We’re still waiting for the arrival of the other two witches. Remember, they gave O’Malley his blue scarf and… what was that other little gift…?
it’s Cliffhangers like this that used to drive me crazy on Saturday mornings…. Darn… this Arc is going to take a very long time to come to a conclusion… if it doesn’t get solved before I croak, I’m going to come back and haunt someone! ;)
I’m not sure what exactly will bring Luxuria down.
But, I can predict how it will happen.
Luxuria will have victory in his hands – he will taste winning like the finest of wines or the most sensational post-coital warmth.
And then he will see it snatched from his grasp by the smallest of things, and the wine will turn to vinegar, post-coital warmth will become coital failure, and he will be slowly bound as he watches all his plans unwind before him.
But, BUT!! At the last moment, the very last instant, he will secure an out that he won’t be able to try for a thousand years, and that prospect will sting Luxuria like angry hornets swarming from a hive.
I don’t think we’ve ever seen Mal so devastated… he’s accidentally played right into the spirit’s hands, and all the people he’s grown to care about are one twitch away from destruction… And to add insult to injury, the spirit apparently has an iron, viselike grip.

Agreed. I’ve got a feeling old Lusty boy is going to be in for a nasty surprise once he gets Mal backed into the corner.

No Mal, you didn’t. Don’t believe his twisting of the truth. But do play along temporarily while you figure out what to do.

Whelp. Time to bring a crippling hiccup to this baddie’s plans, then.
…anybody got any ideas on how to do that?
