I used to enjoy watching “Friday Night Fights” on ESPN with Joe Tessitore and Teddy Atlas (who I loved as an analyst), but have converted to Glory kickboxing ever since switching from satellite to Roku. Seems like you get more action with the kickboxers and it’s pretty hard to top a Ricky Verhoeven match.
Boxing hasn’t got Heavyweight boxers like we used to have(The Thrilla in Manilla) But MMA seems to have taken over from Boxing at least for people under 30

UFC/MMA seems to get more press. Is one of the Klitschkos still the boxing heavyweight champ? Nobody knows anymore.

Virtually everyone watched every Mohammed Ali bout. He was so famous that even his announcer, Howard Cosell, became a household word.
