There are no pleasing people sometimes. You try to be as quiet as you can in a library and yet you still get complaints from other people for talking too loud! Just read your book and shut up because I rather think it’s you making all the noise.
This happened to me at my college library. I was WHISPERING to a friend of mine who happened to be talking to me first, I was hardly bellowing like Freddie but I still had one of the staff telling me to be quiet. I was whispering so quietly that I felt a strain in my throat.
She accused Beviek of bullying her. And if anybody dared ask what one of the English terms/expressions meant in the Andy Capp strip she used to say “Try to remember that there is an entire world outside of the US”
Or something along those lines.
My criminal check is onto the final stage now. Almost done! It completed 2 stages today within 2 hours.
One of my many trips to the library (I love going to the library) was spoiled not by some loudmouth screaming their head off, but by a kid with a dirty diaper. The little stink bomb really stunk up the place.
I encounter people like this from time to time. They aren’t capable of having a quiet conversation with someone. They seem to think whatever they have to say is so important that everyone in the room needs to hear them.
Or maybe they’re just hard of hearing and don’t realize how loud they are.

So people call him Foghorn, huh? I say, boy! That dog is dumber than a sack of wet beans.

I work in a library. In the public area of the main floor, sometimes you do have to shout with the ambient noise.

But I think it’s the former.
