The fact that I can SO relate to this disturbs the hell out of me…

I don’t think that he is going to be able to make much of a kick this time.

Could this be Charlie Brown in 40 years? Watch out Chuck. Lucy might pull that football away again at the last minute.

saw “rip” and was thinking that it was part of Ralph’s clothing….

It happens. I was working around the yard, doing some strenuous pushing, pulling lifting, etc. Then, when cleaning up, I pulled a muscle in my shoulder just putting a tool into the cart.

I have rotator cuff impingement. Grabs me at the least opportune moment.

Still in shape?? Umm ok.

EXACTLY!

The worst thing the doctor told me is that past 50 I should not think that my muscles can still handle the stress of the sports I enjoy unless I slow down… a lot. He told me that among people who enjoy physical activities he sees a lot of 50+ who discovered painfully that rule of thumb by themselves. It sucks. :(
