I got admitted to the ER with a very erratic and low pulse, and low blood pressure. I was lying in bed, hooked up to monitors while a nurse was talking to me about my symptoms. I was comfortable until she said, “Did you know your heart stopped for 7 seconds?”
“Uh, no, I didn’t notice.”
And that’s how I got a pacemaker… which in fact I didn’t really need… because (to make a long story short) my heart medication was the culprit, but that wasn’t obvious at the time…

I’ve seen doctors of all kinds for many years, I have yet to see that light reflecting gadget on any doctor other than in tv or cartoons
