Snoopy never learns to not sleep onto of his doghouse when overnight forecasts show snow.

It’s both funny and cute, Snoopy.

Smug Woodstock is smug.

In one strip, it snows on Snoopy’s doghouse, and at first, he thinks he went blind during the night. Then when he saw the white stuff, he said, “Ah! Snow! Snow! Beautiful snow!”

I don’t know about beagles, but we had a husky when I was a kid… he would sleep in the open, with snow falling on him, using it as a “blanket” with his nose sticking out. I guess that is somewhat common, as another dog we had later (RIP) would do the same, and she was only half-husky (the other half, collie)…

with all the features of his doghouse, you would think Snoopy would have added a room with a heater and a nice bed to sleep in….

I thought so!

Woodstock built a monument to him.
