Were the French who pawned the guillotine a bit in debt?

That must be why Linus hasn’t found the Great Pumpkin yet. He needs to move from Santa Rosa to Peoria.

Given that the current civilization would be the likely cause of the apocalypse, Perhaps the stones reflect what not to do when creating the next one.

Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.Guide reproduction wisely — improving fitness and diversity.Unite humanity with a living new language.Rule passion — faith — tradition — and all things with tempered reason.Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.Let all nations rule internally resolving external disputes in a world court.Avoid petty laws and useless officials.Balance personal rights with social duties.Prize truth — beauty — love — seeking harmony with the infinite.Be not a cancer on the earth — Leave room for nature — Leave room for nature.

I have grave doubts that the people of Georgia have good advice on how to build a society.

Don’t tell Hollywood or the Democrats – they will try to destroy those Guidestones.

I am not buying the pumpkin assertion. While you can find the pumpkin factoid that RBION quoted on some sites, most sites show Illinois at about half the US production.

Here is some information from 2016:https://www.farmfutures.com/story-illinois-california-are-leading-pumpkin-producers-8-148019

However it was returned after the " guillotine expert" said it was a forgery and only worth 25 Francs

A bit drastic, back to pre-1960 level would do. This is now a bigger threat to human existence than nuclear war and “climate change”.

I don’t know what’s funnier, the idea that the city only had ONE guillotine or the fact that someone was able to pawn it.

I guess, the way you react after an apocalypse depends on the type of the apocalypse. And that somebody, after any “Apocalypse” will be able to count the human population and then declare sth like “we found 587 million people and therefore should cut 87 million to survive” sounds neither plausible nor sensible to me.
