Had a vehicle that would blow its horn whenever I made a right turn. Annoyed everybody on the road, including me. Took it to three different auto repair shops, but nobody was able to figure the problem out. Finally fixed it myself.

Incidentally, this is a reworking of an old Shoe weekday strip. His comment so perfectly echoed what I do behind the wheel that it stuck with me and I recognized it immediately today. Checking my resources, the original strip ran 21 May 1993. The ONLY difference in the text is some of the first panel’s musical notes.

“Closet extrovert” is actually an excellent description of me. No matter how much i enjoy peace and solitude (which is a lot), I do find some social interaction to be quite enjoyable.
