Junior’s not wrong about that! Coddling is not fun for the teens.

Betty should let him break his share of bones. It’s a rite of passage.

There’s something about extreme panic or pain that will cement a memory.

Junior thinks he can learn more on his own, by watching YouTube, than from a real instructor, or even a mentor…

And with no one watching him, he’ll master the intricate footwork and pacing of a sport in which one misstep will throw you off a 4-story building?

Sure, he disdains the gym… after all, he was already proving himself, conquering the dangers of the concrete jungle, by training himself on the upholstered couch?

Uh huh.

Fun is what you make it. Dope.

“Fun” changes when you become a parent.

Not getting hurt sounds like a lot of fun to me!

His teen years sound like trouble…

Jr is not showing any respect to his mother. He is very rude. If I did that as a kid, I would get the back of my father’s hand across the back of my head.
