    Greek tragedies – everyone dies.

Greek comedies – not everyone dies.

Greek musical comedies – not everyone dies but you get an earworm.

Ironically, Greek tragedy was musical. It’s known from references that the great choruses were sung and danced. Nothing more is known, alas and that’s why it’s impossible to watch a modern production where the chorus stands and chants or comments. It’s thought that Greek tragedy was probably more like our opera or ballet (or a combination of both) but we don’t know.
