How about this for a slogan, “We promise nothing and deliver less”

My company asked me to come up with a word or phrase for my store for the upcoming season. Hmmmmmmmmm………

I may have to totally revamp the way I draw this strip. Seems as if every day someone misinterprets something that I thought was clear. It often feels like some readers are taking certain specific objects out of context, and not seeing how they fit the overall situation.

I’d retool this one to remove the confusion, but gocomics doesn’t seems to post corrected versions anymore.

It’s kinda sort of OK, I guess.

This could get political quickly.

“We’re no worse than anyone else!” I remember that coming up in a training session (“suggested” by the instructor to make a point) in response to comments like “everyone does it that way” or “everyone is just as bad”.

That slogan has got to be Rita’s idea.

The Shadow is trying to imitate Errol Flynn as Robin Hood in The Adventures of Robin Hood. Well Almost!
