Ruining Thanksgiving to save the rest of the year? Bold move. Sadly, Nancy is probably too young to realize how quickly health trends change; Fritzi will have her eating some other disgusting thing by March.

Pumpkin pie with kale? Cranberries with kale? Turkey dressing with kale? Sweet potatoes with kale? Somehow, I don’t think so…

Kale seems to have become a superfood. Nancy might be seeing it on her plate again soon. Combines well with mashed potatoes.

Kale, kale, kale, kale, kale, kale, kale, kale, kale, baked beans and kale.

What’s wrong with Kale? Trader Joe’s used to carry a Kale and Spinach pie that was delicious.

Lots of people,myself included, find kale inedible. I find it bitter and slimy. Of course, I still get asked the classic question ‘Have you ever tired it?’

If you don’t like a certain food, you can bet someone who does thinks you’re only imagining you won’t, and that as soon as you try it you’ll agree with them that it’s great. No. I’ve tried it. It’s horrible.

I don’t think I’ve ever had kale. From the comments, I don’t feel as if I’m missing out on anything special.

This year everyone is dumping on Thanksgiving dinner, man. What gives? I think most of the haters don’t really know how to make gravy or are over cooking their mashed potatoes. People can’t handle the basics anymore. I dig pearl onions and butternut squash. You know, if you idiots stopped drinking “pumpkin spice” lattes, you might enjoy pumpkin pie more. It’s a custard. Custards aren’t easy. Stop undercooking the shell AND GET OFF MY LAWN.

I’m gonna go out and yell at some clouds.
