Given where he is pouring it, that oil filler point is either way, way out of place, or he’s pouring oil into the radiator… you usually pour it into the fill hole on the valve cover, which on an old truck, should be further back than this…
Had an old oil-eater, I was taking care of two other cars at the time, so I saved the old oil from their changes and put it in the Volvo as needed. I did change the Volvo’s oil filter annually.
I remember driving a truck for a company. we had some down time so they had my check the truck out. I looked at the dipstick and nothing on it. ended up adding 4 to 5 quarts before something even showed on the dipstick. How that motor did not blow up amazed me.

It prob’ly leaks and or smokes a lot. A true Plugger car.
