I was told that my paternal grandfather used to say, “visiting relatives are like fish: after a few days, they start to smell.”
Is he really so bitter after all these years just because she wanted to name the kids rhyming names? There must be more than that.
After anyone visits, I like to see them off with a hearty “Thanks for coming! And thanks for leaving again!”
So frowning gives you a better workout?
All you need is Love…….Maybe :-/
Just remember everyone brings joy some when they arrive and the others when they leave
Resting Earl face.
So frowning lets more muscles share the load, it’s easier on them than the 17 for smiling
I think that there are more muscles than that in the leg and foot, Earl……
This is a repeat….. STILL funny though :-)
Wonder if there is a third sister named Ruby?
Did Pearl ever marry? If she did and had kids, what are their names?
When you come to visit my brother he gives you a roll of toilet paper he says when it’s gone so are you
Apparently the smile / frown muscle usage ratio is the other way around.
Been listening to old records (vinyl). Max Morath had a great song, “Come after breakfast, bring your own lunch, and leave before suppertime.” Covers it all. . .
come back when you can’t stay so long.
“David, it takes fewer muscles to smile than to frown.”
“Don’t care. I’m not lazy.”
