She lost me at pumkin-spice.

Mom put a whole lot of rum in hers. And served it with spiced rum. Maybe that is why everyone liked her fruit cake.

Don’t tease us. I’d like to try that. I occasionally put a little Malibu in my coffee to spice things up.
