Funny that Stella did not became a regular in the strip after the movie came out. Oh, like Verne said, they don’t own the copyrights to her.

RJ start a fire and burn the stinkbugs in it ….. They will make a puff sound when they hit the fire we have a wood-burner and that’s were any captured stinkbugs go. Think of it as a Viking funeral :-)

Marty Stouffer, the naturalist, wildlife documentarian, author and one-time PBS celebrity, once wrote how he dug a pit to film some ground-dwelling critters, only to fall asleep in it one night and wake up covered in insects — centipedes, I think it was. He described it as his worst ever wildlife experience.

I’ve heard they simply smell like cilantro…which to me, does stink, but friends like the smell.
