Writing his mother tickets is a way of warning her. Dot is a seriously dangerous driver and if this were real life she probably would have caused several accidents or killed someone by now. There’s nothing funny about recklessness on the roads.

just pay the ticket and learn your lesson, Dana….you don’t want it to turn into something bigger!

So Joe does write tickets for his mother. I always did wonder is she ever gets tickets and by her son sometimes. Now does Dot pay those tickets, or does she hope nothing happens if she doesn’t pay them?

Robb writes Dot and her awful driving in the perfect way. It’s funny, thought provoking, and because of the humor, it easily opens up discussion between parents and kids about driving safety.

Dana must be out of her mind if she believes she can convince Marcy in telling Joe NOT to do his job

Yes it is a real ticket and you have to handle it. Easier to pay it by mail and be more careful.

I use to be an LEO, I explained to a couple of relatives that sharing a little bit genetic material wasn’t a get out Jail free card.

Nope, not joking. My cousin’s a police officer, and he doesn’t play favorites.
