Black Friday, beware – Amanda’s Mom’s on her way!!!

Just tell them that Dan wants one of those 75 inch tv’s that cost about a thousand dollars. That will give them their laugh of the day.

Oh goody, it’s that time of year. I’m not looking forward to having that conversation with my mom.

Tell them you want something lame. Like a pencil. Or a ping-pong ball. Or one of those paddle-balls. Then they won’t spend much.

I have reached a point in my life that clothing, even good underwear, is appreciated. I guess I have gotten old, but the money I don’t have to spend what I need I can spend on the things I want.

Some people just don’t seem to understand (DAN!) that buying, making, finding, or even INVENTING gifts for people we love is the most fun thing EVER!!! I have baked, sewn, crocheted, sculpted, photographed, painted, found, and sometimes bought presents for people, and so many have acted like I think they owe me something. I HAD FUN. Bet your mom is the same way.

I think Dan’s got the right idea!
