I live in central Va but I can empathize with dad. More lights in am and earlier in pm. Doesn’t substitute well for sunlight and moderate temps, but it helps.
So do folks in the Southern Hemisphere have the saying “September comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb.”?
About three more weeks and days start getting longer. Yay!
I go to work in the dark and come home in the dark, I work the first shift 7:30-5:00
It comes in like a polar bear on an ice floe and…stays for the next 3 or 4 months!
We moved 1000 miles north this summer. Summer days were markedly longer. As are winter nights. Love it.
