One of two things: 1. Their houses are VERY close together, and their rooms are sharing a common wall (not likely), and/or 2. That Bluetooth they have has an incredible range, more than any other Bluetooth devices in existence (it is SHORT-range radio communication; it is not 802.11n (aka, “WiFi”), which would have been a more accurate situation for this strip).
So, no, this would never happen. :-\

Most people think their printers are off when in reality, they are just sleeping. It’s not possible, of course, because Opal would have to know their password.
She must live near us. We used to have phantom things print everyday at the same time. It was just a line of gobbledygook. We keep the drawer open now and clear the printer memory before we print anything.
