This is one reason why I still use a land line. Plus, there are no drop outs, though I’m beginning to marvel all the wonders of the smart phone.
The most useful “feature” of my wife’s smart phone is Google maps.
I still have a flip phone. I often joke that it is so old it has a rotary dial. I can’t remember the number, so I just tell people I don’t have a cell; just leave a message on the land line.
