It’s all very tense.
And now, back to that Christmas classic, “Until Subordinate Claus Is Ready, Main Claus Is Comin’ To Town”.
Conditionally, if there is a next year.
At last a pluperfect cartoon.
So last year was past perfect? Sounds about right.
If you were to come back, you’d be in a subjunctive mood.
He sure is tense for a ghost.
Sounds like the ghost of Scrooge’s father’s mom… his grammar.
Jokes for English Majors, you don’t see those very often
Grammatical ghost!
past, present or future tense?
I thought Grammar got run over by a reindeer.
Very scary story, boy and girls.
I prefer the Ghost of Christmas Presents…
“I will have been” is future perfect, isn’t it? I can’t think of how “future imperfect” would be phrased. A grammar nazi cries out for help!
There you go, Grammar Police. Enjoy.
Another spectre of what is to become of the English language.
The older I get the better I was.
What will be will be what is, what is will be what was, and what was will have been what will be.
