At least Ellie is gussying up her “date clothes”. It looks like she’s wearing women’s shoes this time, but don’t worry “Al” could be wearing “Hello Kitty” socks and Hubbs would just assume they were a gift from “his” non-existant sister.

Is that Sedine on the cover of that cookbook? She did make a culinary impression on this strip with the naked apron, but I don’t really think about the naked apron anymore, the naked apron hasn’t even been on my mind in a while, yep I’ve completely forgotten the naked apron… XD

Actually Ellie’s just surprised because she realized that her sweater is in color.

Hubbs maybe a good accountant but not much on scheduling, you’re supposed to start Spring prep after Christmas dinner! Then again considering how he chowed down during Thanksgiving Ellie’s dinner might just be a “snack” to him.
