Don’t be too sure, Charlie Brown. I once rode a rocking horse through three rooms and into the kitchen.

There’s only a very tenuous connection… the name “Lucy,” that is… but in my head this conversation played out as if between the Ricardos.

Get out of my head! We were just discussing rocking horses! Mine didn’t rock, it was attached to a heavy metal frame by springs. It bounced, but would not tip over like a traditional rocking horse. (Anybody remember the short story, Rocking Horse Winner?)

She’s hungry. Is the kitchen near the bridge by the fountain where rocking-horse people eat marshmallow pies? From there she can go to the sky (with diamonds).
