was Lassie on the telly at this time period? because that’s what I think Snoopy is watching

Snoopy seems to be quite talented at the Russian Cossack dance.

Is this the first time Snoopy “talked?”

Sparky has yet to utilize the thought balloon.

Obviously, he was just the ownerless Snoopy from the block before he became CB’s pet.

Is this the first time Snoopy did his famous dance, or had the furnished dog house?

Was this the first time Snoopy talks?

And was he dancing to “Linus and Lucy”?

I didn’t know Snoopy actually spoke!

I think this is the first appearance of his dog house, and also the first one where he danced other than a few steps. And a dog of Snoopy’s intellect is probably watching a documentary about Albert Payson Terhune.

I think this is the first time that Shultz showed Snoopy’s inner thoughts and the fact his doghouse was a Tardis.

Is this the first time we saw Snoopy’s thoughts and/or reference to his well appointed interior doghouse?

I think this could be the first appearance of Snoopy’s doghouse including mention of it having ‘extras’.

And so it begins(?)

The doghouse has appeared before, but I think this is the first time that there’s any indication that it’s anything other than a typical wooden box. And I think we’ve seen Snoops think before, but that this is the longest to date.

I think this is the first time we “see” Snoopy’s T.V. Also, he’s not attached to any of the children.

He looks so forlorn as they’re walking away.

This is actually the second time, on October 19, 1952. The first appearance of Snoopy with a thought bubble: May 27, 1952. Charlie Brown says to him that it’s too warm to wear ear muffs, and Snoopy sulks away, thinking: “Why do I have to suffer such indignities?” Between these two times, Snoopy appears often with a Question Mark or an Exclamation Mark as a thought, or with a Dark Cloud to show his anger, and he laughs “Hee Hee.” He impersonates Beethoven once and is more anthropomorphic.
