I was born at home in Buffalo in the middle of a very bad snowstorm cuz my parents couldn’t get to the hospital. They had to bring a dr to the house by firetruck.

I was probably the same age as Linus when our doctor made a house call. The only one I ever experienced.

our family doctor made house calls when i was growing up, and he was family doctor; he was my parents’ doctor, my grandparents’, my aunts’ and uncles’, my cousins’, whole family, and he died the same day my grandfather died in same hospital

Maybe the doctor drives a pickup truck.
