I used to work in retail. There was this one mom who would come in with her daughter and let her run wild around the store while she shopped. One time the kid decided to hide in the store. The mother was frantic when she couldn’t find her. Needless to say that was the last time she let her child loose.
On another note, my wife used to do in home daycare. Everyday she would take her 5 little charges out for a walk. She would always stop in the store where I worked. The first few times the manager would cringe when she walked in but the kids were always well behaved. Later in the day some of those same kids would come in with their parents and would be total brats.

Stupid is allowing the same thing to happen again and again while expecting a different outcome each time

You break it, you buy it, you are the guilty one!

If so many things break in the shop that it is necessary to hang a sign, it must be of very poor quality. Just go shopping somewhere else.

If you didn’t get out after the first couple of “breaks”, it’s your fault. Leave the kid alone.

Ah, the old pull-him-around-by-the-ear punishment. Replaced by the no-phone-or-netflix-all-day punishment.

It’s going to take a looong time to pay for that out of your allowance.
