Wow, a Conscientious Objector if I ever saw one. Now we know why he threw the gun down earlier.

They could always cut his suit open without harming him … the mutagen will take care of that.

Ahh a person of higher moral character. Well Making him a Mutant is just as bad as killing him.

You DO NOT KILL unless it is a Last Resort or to Eat.

that is not Realign that is Moral conscience.

I hope so. But this story line is great so far, also.

..how is turning him into a mutie the same as kiling him? That sounds anti-mutant to me…

If an extreme mutation turns him into a mindless monster, and that happens quite often, then that would be worse than killing him. His mind would be gone, and he’d likely try to kill everyone else.

I have yet to see anyone not mentally damaged by a milder mutation. Even Al, with no apparent mutation, isn’t entirely healthy mentally. And Sparkplug’s mind was really mangled, not to mention Flask’s.

If Flask is any indication, if the topsider gets a mild mutation, he’s going to try to kill himself anyway, or try to kill the others anyway, or get cold feet and wish he had done both and get screwed up even further.

And if he gets captured by a topsider… There go both his mind and body.

I wouldn’t kill him. I would have yanked off his helmet, scratched him and spit in the wound to give him the mutagenic virus.
