Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
They asked Stan Lee what he thought of web comics. He said that a comic book is like a breast, itâs nice to see on the internet but it feels better in your hand.
When you think about it, thereâs not much difference between being glued to the television screen reading comics, and doing what weâre doing right now.
That not really such a stretch, Dan. To hear some âfuturistsâ from the 1940s and â50s talk, this was sort of how they foresaw information transmission in our age. And as Linguist says above, itâs pretty much spot-on, especially if oneâs using wireless signal transmission, such as on a cell phone. In fact, take it one step farther and if youâre someone like me who subscribes to his local paper in an electronic format thatâs a digital facsimile of the printed broadsheet paper which can be viewed via a reader app on a smartphone, and you turn to the comics page (mine prints two pages worth), then itâs EXACTLY what your bespectacled dude there is doing!
