No, she is being a bit unfair about this. I mean, it’s not to say that Len’s not got his share of the blame—him just springing this on her hasn’t helped in the slightest, and as others keep pointing out, neither will the cost he paid for it—but Abby most certainly cannot insist he can’t have it at all when Len has to put up with her things he doesn’t like (and is typically a fairly okay sport about it) all the time.
While the banjo playing woodchuck is grotesque, he does have the right to keep it. Perhaps, though, he could keep it at his office. That’s what my dad did with the bongo drum playing frog in a sombrero a friend gave him. One of my brothers inherited it, and keeps it in his office, now!
