Still wonder what the cut is for filing an asbestos claim.

Most lawyers would like this to be true.

Sounds like my last lawyer, Ernie the Attorney, who’s now living on his yacht in somewhere in the Carribean.

And this is why I laugh when I see/hear lawyers talking about making sure that their clients get “just” compensation. 30%-50% is going directly to the lawyer. No wonder they sue for such high numbers.

We had one local lawyer that would settle the lawsuit and keep all of it. He would tell the client that he was still working on it. It finally caught up with him and he committed suicide but not before moving all of his ill gotten gains into trusts and other methods for his family that those he swindled could not recover. He left his family several million dollars and his clients no way to collect for their injuries as their claims had already been settled.

Very true, just saw a lawyer ad on TV, they were bragging they got a $750,000 settlement for their client. Then the fine print read, “the client received $291,000 after lawyer costs and commision”, blood suckers.
