oh, ’twas all but a dream

ooohhhhhhh that subconscious mind is soooo cruel sometimes….

I still wake up that way sometimes. Thirty years later.

At least she didn’t get all the way to school before realization hit

I’ve been retired from the military (32 years) and public service (12 years) for more than 3 years and I still wake up at 5:30 am…differ even is, I usually go back to sleep.

I never did get any school related nightmares.

I wish I could tell the difference between Paige and her mom. I am guessing the one with the coffee is mom.

I still have those moments… and I haven’t been in school (as a student) in 50years.

When I was stationed in Japan and England, they had schools that were open on Saturday.

In the most ornery such nightmare I had, part of my mind was saying, “Wait, you’re not in school anymore; this must be a dream,” but another part replied, “NO, THIS IS NOT A DREAM; YOU ARE IN REAL TROUBLE!”

Something like that happened on the first Saturday of the new school year. I woke up and realized that I was late, and was halfway up the stairs (my bedroom was in the basement), when I heard my sister and her friend laughing, and remembered what day it was.
