Hey, reread -carefully- what Mona said in the first panel: âDonna and are not inâŠâ She didnât say âDonna and (I) are not inâŠâ HmmmmmâŠ!!
Hector, my understanding is that fakingâs not so much an issue in these circumstances.
Q: Why can men never tell when women have real orgasms?
A: Because theyâre never there.
Back to the cartoon:
âEveryone was so worried about who was going to want to see [Black Swan]. I remember them being like âHow do you get guys to a ballet movie? How do you get girls to a thriller?â And the answer is a lesbian scene. Everyone wants to see that.â
â Natalie Portman, Entertainment Weekly, 1.7.11
And why would a stuffed rabbit care what goes on in a bedroom?
And people like Natalie Portman shouldnât use the word âeveryoneâ. Not âeveryoneâ wants to see a lesbian scene or whatever else people misuse the word for. Making an assumption like that is irresponsible.
Why do I think this is Jenâs response to any questions about Mona and Donnaâs bachelorette status? If theyâre not spending every day trying to snag a boyfriend, then the average comic strip reader is bound to get suspicious. Remember, this is a comic strip, and a comic strip woman must always be on the hunt for a potential husband if she isnât already married. The Ryan story must have sent up some red flags when Mona chose Smokey.
Whatâs wrong with a couple of old maids living together anyway?
cnrsarah, hyperbolic idiom isnât necessarily irresponsible; itâs a common rhetorical device, if the usage is intended and understood as hyperbole. Everyone knows that.

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
The thing Iâve always wondered about lesbian sex is, how do they know when theyâre done?
