Reminded me of a great Beetle Bailey comic on teamwork – When Captain Scabbard announced that the Pentagon had accepted their proposal, Lt. Fuzz said that he had come up with the original idea; Sgt. Snorkel had added technical details; Lt. Flap had edited the language; Beetle had mailed it; and Zero had licked the stamp. All felt personal ownership in the project.
