Curiouser and curiouser. Dittos going rogue?

At least he hasn’t blamed Wally for it.

Also where’s the gunk dust going? That’s going to build up somewhere.

Also, ew – I don’t want to know what got that underwear so dirty. :)

The elephant isn’t minding that the dittoes are making an icky job easier. He didn’t have that dirty sheet close to Wally before it automagically was cleaned; I guess he’s experimenting to see what the dittoes will or will not clean. Now Wally is awake he can explain it’s not he himself that’s the “miracle cleaner”, but the dittoes at work.

The miners didn’t mind either when the rooms were excavated so easily. It’s the higher-ups that object, for whatever reason. Maybe stuck in the depths of the laundry room Wally will be left alone, although now the clean laundry will be delivered more quickly, someone will notice and ask why.

Dittos may be forming self reliance. No longer needs to be directed or guided by thought.

The elephant would have explained more, but he wanted to keep it brief.

For some reason the strip of today ranks very high on my favorite strips list… must be the dirty underwear :D

Do their duties involve folding the laundry?

I guess the dittos need to eat, and soiled laundry provides a good food source. Weren’t the wild dittos carniverous?

I do wish Mr. Neathery would update earlier in the day on MWF. His posts occur so late that his series doesn’t post on the day it was meant to OR the next day. I’ve had to click on ‘View latest strip’ just to see if there is a new strip. They don’t show up in the lists sent to me daily, either. Not on the MWF ones or the TT ones.

Once again, the dittos are doing what they can to make things easier for Wally. And even though his elephant friend doesn’t fully understand what’s going on, he’s at least appreciating how it’s making things easier.

No more need for the machinery, cutting down any costs on soap, water and maintenance.

However, it’s just a matter of time before one of the “higher-ups” gets wind of this. What kind of civilization can’t appreciate efficiency?
