Or maybe she was screaming because her dad was making her mom carry all the luggage and telling her that’s what a good submissive wife does. His daughter wasn’t putting up with it.

Lennie, I enjoyed Wednesday’s strip. 3 humorless readers who took offense shouldn’t bother you. Keep going! (And thanks)

    Lenny,

More than likely the little spoiled brat whose “mother” refused to spend the effort to train her daughter in proper behavior. I feel sorry for both the woman and the little girl. Unchecked, this behavior will only get worse and make it hard for the little girl when she finally becomes an adult.

There will be some negative feed back from some people, but I know what I am talking about. My daughter is high functioning autistic and was never allowed to behave that way. I, myself, have Asperger’s Syndrome, yet my mother would not allowed me to behave in such a manner either.

Maybe an enlightening is due here Lenny. Just because you can make an artistic move, doesn’t mean you should. Artisic integrity has a responsibility.

Lennie, I came upon a pre-school group on an outing inside the subway. The caregivers and parents were letting the kids screech and run wild on the platform

I took out my phone and pretended to film them. I said in a loud voice: If any of your kids fall on the track, I’m giving this video to the District Attorney and I will testify that you failed to control these children. I want to get to work on time. If one of your kids falls on the track, they’re going to have to stop the train and I’ll be late.

It took only a few seconds and the kids were herded up and made to stand silently next to the wall, far from the edge of the tracks.

The only one with a fair point is the third one tbh. The first have clearly not read the comic before, and second one is not a big loss.

I often wonder why some people even read the comics ~~ they have no sense of humor. Besides, anyone who loves cats and is funny, gets high regards from me!

Ironically disappointing. I see the forest, but where are all the trees?

I took it from an old novel and used it twice in my life.

You walk up to the mother and say, “Now I understand why some animals eat their young.” Walk away with the joy of her expression forever embedded in memory.

Lennie, I support you. The kid was most likely just spoiled rotten and rules the roost. The meltdown behaviors of autistic children are different characteristics to them then those of spoiled brats.

    Dear offended people,

Is it exhausting going around every day looking for things to complain about? This should be pretty low on the list of things to worry about. If a comic that you don’t understand upsets you this much, then I would consider this actually a good day. There are people that have REAL problems.

And anyway… I thought the point of the strip was the tshirt saying… about the future being female and stereotypically females respond in much more emotive states
