In one of the squadrons I was in, we decided to have a squadron picture in front of one of our airplanes. We were giving the photographer some good ribbing about how he was positioning us. At one point he asked everyone to take two steps to the left. We refused and he took the picture anyway.

We later asked him about it and he said that it was because of the angle of the sun. He added, so since you guys didn’t move, I waited until the sun did.
