Okay, I guess I’m resident geezer for all the kiddies.

1. That’s an audio tape cassette.

2. They sometimes spewed their tapey guts out like that.

3. So you would stick a pencil in one of the round holes like the one just below and to the right of the “A” on the cassette and slowly, carefully reel the tape back in.

Ah,the good old days….

Should the patient die, the funeral will stream online.

8-tracks, on the other hand, were usually just chucked out the car window.

After the operation, Doc, don’t forget to knock out the little tab on the top, so it can’t be recorded over.

Is it alive? No, it’s just Memorex.

They did the operation in record time.

I recall when cassettes were cutting-edge, and my high school library’s collection still included stuff on reels and they’d let us sign out reel-to-reel machines to play them. Geez, those things were heavy!

Ah, the good old days!

Next patient, a broken record.

I still do that on occasion. I refuse to give in to certain new technology.

Some of my video cassettes are still playable. However, the video quality is not good.
