Lion was quite the interrogator. When a Kalidah had been captured (giant bears with tiger heads) Lion knows that Kalidahs can regenerate so he threatened the prisoner that he will take selected bites out of the Kalidah prisoner and watch those bites regrow and keep doing it till the prisoner talked. Suffice it to say the prisoner talked before he started.
