The problem with speeches.

I personally think mentioning the sock collection was unnecessary.

He didn’t mention a job.

Some duct tape ought to do the trick.

It’s lucky that Liz isn’t there to hear him think of the sock collection before her. Although she did come in ahead of the cell phone.

And I notice he doesn’t say anything about two wonderful pets.

It’s true. Those are the biggest speech bubbles I’ve ever seen

Hey, Jon, you forgot to mention your adorable cat.

He’s right. Those things he mentioned are in short supply.

Silence, would be golden to Garfield.

Well Garfield you and Odie weren’t mentioned. So, 90 out of 100 isn’t bad at all.

How about Garfield gets the Neighbors to sign a petition ?

As long as Odie doesn’t eat this one.

A few years ago, I discarded all my socks, and replaced them with identical black ones. Makes sorting the laundry faster, as well as deciding on socks for the day.

To Garfield, that’s the one thing Jon needs the most!

The sock collection proves it. The rest are just side-items.

Jon’s speech was starting to worry me. It was awfully reminiscent of Lou Gehrig’s “luckiest man” speech.

Sometimes Garfield is the one who needs to be muted.

And, to really count your blessings, a sarcastic cat.

That’s probably the way most of the world sees us.
