Apparently it takes 3 or 4 generations of Monarchs to complete a migration. The first 3 generations live only 2 to 6 weeks apiece, and the 4th generation lives 6 to 8 months. So, sorry, Monarch 1-percenters, this is your only migration. (Unless the rich Monarchs have access to better private healthcare.)
