Oddly, today I’m reading the comics on my smartphone because I left early for a trip and I’m waiting for a ferry.
Houyhnhnms are very intelligent beings. But even they have a human-like reaction to electronic devices of human devising.

End the Smartphone tyranny and control!
Smart phones can be great for filling in a little time when you really don’t have anything better to do. The trouble is that they tend to make you oblivious when there are better things to do.

Well since he is outside, the toy is probably a mouse. If Horace were inside at his PC, he might be playing with a mouse also… !
Funny how horse keeps amused for hours….addictions are running rampant in today’s society!
