Well, right now the adult Sam is a college student who as far as I know has no altruistic inclinations. Looks like the idea of helping lepers didn’t stick.

Kids have their own dreams. They just don’t know what they are until their parents tell them what to do so they can formulate plans to do the opposite. It’s how we evolve.

Considering it was Boopsie who said it, her dialog in the first panel was amazingly astute. And it probably went right over BD’s head…er, helmet…whatever….
