So close, and yet so far.

Nancy scholars will note that this is, I think, the sixth time Nancy has not appeared in her own strip under OJ, and the only one to not feature one of Nancy, Sluggo, or Fritzi.

This is utterly charming.

For one thing, I’m pretty sure the forger did a better job of it.

Nancy without Nancy. Well, we have Garfield without Garfield, so why not?

We branch into a lot of things over our lives.

Actually, it’s a union strike. Nancy, Sluggo and Aunt Fritzi are on strike for more compensation!

Nancy’s inner feelings are coming out on the page. Her conscious mind does not know herself… I sense a dramatic self realization over how Nancy really feels about Esther and Robotics club in the future.
