Hobbes needs some alone time.

Ohhh…it’s THIS storyline.

Spoiler alert: I consider this storyline to be even sadder than the raccoon one.

Makes you wonder who is the acquaintance of Calvin’s family that’s getting married.

Calvin will be lost without Hobbes.

No he won’t. He left Hobbes behind

Ooh, it’s a rare misstep by a loving parent that leaves a beloved toy behind like that! I’ll watch this storyline with great interest!

Better to leave Hobbes safe at home than to leave him behind in a hotel room, Calvin.

This one is so relentlessly harrowing. More proof that Watterson was the unrivaled master of the medium.

Oh, my. A sleepless night portends . . .

This will never do. Who will make tuna sandwiches for Hobbes?

Hobbes will go visit Susie for the night.

I think everyone’s going to be regretting this mistake!

It’s a good idea to have a tiger guarding your house, right?

For once, Hobbes gets to sleep in as late as he likes. :)

hmmmm… coming up for our pleasure – “The Tail of the Long Tale”

Hobbs is going to be home alone.

Oh no! This will not go well.

Well, this is going to be an interesting wedding, and by interesting, I mean horrible.

There’s no one to help him learn how to dance with Susie.

Oh no! He forgot to make his bed.

They could get him an identical tiger doll…

How in the world could Calvin forget something so important to him?

I may be wrong, but didn’t they just re-run this storyline a few months ago?

Calvin at a wedding is a sure reminder for birth control on the wedding night.

This storyline has one of the best Calvin quotes: “Dad snoring? I thought that was trucks downshifting on the freeway.”

No spoiling, guys, I want everyone to witness the [###] [#####] for themselves.

They forgot Hobbes!! He’ll eat all tuna and read Calvins comic books!!

Nooooo! I can’t handle this. And it’s only Monday morning. And I’m only on my first mug O joe.

Hobbs is NOT going to be unhappy he was left behind. Let the mayhem ensue.

Anyways, I needed an eye wash, (after reading the Little racoon storyline)

Cue up “Old Time Rock and Roll” as Hobbes slides across the floor in his tighty whities…

My cat sleeps under the blankets too. ;)

Seems like Calvin’s parents could be a little more in tune with his need for Hobbes.
