I heard about people who had forgotten wifes,mother/fathers in law etc on the highway after a rest stop .

watch it with the joke, Dad, for Mom is in the car… you wouldn’t want her to boot you out of the car and make you hitchhike the rest of the way to the wedding and back home, would you?

Dads are not wired to be able to turn around and retrieve a forgotten item. Do without.

As endearing a comic figure as he is, Calvin would be in a military school or a mental institution as a real human.

Dad, which is more important, a quiet happy kid playing with Hobbes or a whiney, little brat fussing around and pouting during the wedding?

Watching tv and reading Calvin’s comics no doubt.

I’m thinking it will be a loooong day without Hobbes.

More mayhem will ensue. It’s a sure bet that Calvin will create chaos since he will be bored with the wedding and reception afterwards.
