Calvin is a child prodigy.

Judging by some early strips, this is far from Calvin’s first time wrecking the car. He’ll get off easy here in comparison.

Now you get Dad’s toolbox and fix whatever you can.

Calvin’s flashing life is probably a couple minutes long.

As your life flashes before your eyes, take note of the parts where you said What could possibly go wrong? and We won’t get in trouble.

Well at least the chase is over…well this one anyway.

In the near end of the binoculars arc, Calvin’s father said Calvin would probably wrecking the car in ten years. If the combined GROSS car in ditch arcs preceded the arc I’m referring to, then Calvin got an early start.

At least he missed the fire hydrant.

Al Gore totaled his family car when he was 16, put it in a ditch. I think he admitted that in “An Inconvenient Truth”. Just a typical American kid, but wouldn’t the world be different, if he had become president. Now we only have school kids like Greta in Sweden and it’s probably too late to prevent what is going to happen.

Hobbes’s comment made me laugh out loud – priceless

Knowing Calvin, they should have figured!

I blamed Mom for not setting the parking brakes.

At 6 years old, that flash will be a quick blip…followed soon by a bang and a loud “OW!”

Actually, be thankful for the ditch. Otherwise the car would still be going down the street, gaining speed…

Hobbes doesn’t think Calvin’s parents know him by now?

I had caused my first car wreck before I was in school. We were going down the road when I decided I would drive. I then grabbed the steering wheel and pulled over tinto the ditch. Happily the only casualty was the root beers we were carrying home for floats. Needless to say this was long before there were car seats and seat belts.

Oh just get away from there and go play somewhere else. When the subject comes up just act like you have no idea what it’s about. Act natural. No guilt. Not gonna happen, we know.

He has such a great style with plants. And animals too.

The car in the garage & being pushed reminded me too much of our white ’77 Volvo 242 we had for 14 years. It was rear ended by a drunk in a big Chevy. Trunk totally pushed in, but my wife was able to drive it home. Had the Body shop of a Volvo dealer in Mission KS do the repair. It cost $6000, & the insurance company said if it was any other car but a Volvo.. they would have totaled it.

Mom ! Dad ! Come quick ! Hobbes and I saw someone trying to steal your car. We chased him but he got away !

Calvin missed the fire hydrant, anyway.

Down here in the eastern part of the globe you need to be 18 to wreck the car. Calvin does activities way beyond d his age. Let’s see what parents have to say after witnessing this.
