Calvin, the truth will catch up to you no matter how far you run.

You can’t outrun the long arm of the law.

You can run, Calvin, but you can’t hide!

Now how is Dad going to get home if there is only one family car which is in the ditch? If a bus, it’s going to take awhile when it comes to waiting for the bus to arrive and to make other stops.

Throw the book at him!!

This is really building character.

There are things in this world that even tigers are afraid of.

Play the “Cops” theme song!

All those years training on the cart and you are running?

Dad’s on the way home? Yeah, that will give Calvin a little more energy!

At his age, I once drove a Nash three feet. I hit the starter with the car in gear, and you should have seen those kids, who wouldn’t get off the hood, run! Makes me sweat now to think, what if it had started?

As we used to say in the ’70s – Keep on Truckin"!

It is amazing how such short legs can move so fast but not get him very far. Now Mom and Dad will have two emergencies. The car in the ditch and the missing kid(and tiger). I’m thinking GROSS is off to a shaky start.

At the pace I’m sure Calvin and Hobbes are in the next county by now.

Count those steps!

I, for one, can’t wait to hear how many years Calvin will be grounded, once he is caught. Or will he be spanked within an inch of his life? I can’t wait to find out

All Mom and Dad are going to do is give Calvin a stern talking to. And a hug because they thought he was lost. His family is fairly functional and he lives in fear for no reason. Call me when he gets really punished for such a transgression. And I mean something more than going to bed without any supper.

If Calvin’s dad took the car this morning,Calvin wouldn’t be in this mess.

LOL!

I’ll bet anything that Calvin is a sprinter, not a marathoner. He won’t go far.

Whatever happened to that snack pack! How would of the two survive now far away from parents.
