We lost it when news became ‘entertainment’. Now we are so well informed we know less than when we had to buy a newspaper.

The part of the brain that registers stupidity seems to be either not functioning or completely missing in a lot of people.

Occam’s Razor: the simplest explanation that adequately describes an event is most likely true.

Murphy’s Blunt Instrument: the explanation that requires the most conspirators and combination of unlikely events is most likely to be believed.

Corollary to Occam’s Razor:Never ascribe to malice that which can adequately be explained by stupidity.

Scientific Explanation of the Corollary: There are only two things that are truly universal: Hydrogen and stupidity.

In a large number of people today, the brain does not register stupidity at all. People keep auditioning for the movie “Jackass”.

In 1970 every house on the street (12) got the newspaper. Now it is down to two. And the leftists running the thing can’t figure out why. After a particularly caustic anti-Christian editorial I told their reader rep they could print anything they want but I didn’t have to pay for it.

The more lies, half lies and propaganda the harder the brain must work in order to find it. And it is getting harder and harder with so much out there. The information age is a gold mind for the liars and cheaters.
