I’m disappointed too, SIOTI. Looks like reruns are starting with April 1, 2013. Hope they appear in a reasonable order and we get a look sometime at the early strips. I’d be pleased if GoComics choose to run two Ballard Street versions, an early and a mid, like they do with “Peanuts.”

Phew…. for a while there I thought everyone would have to move, but today dawned just like the last 20 years… weird.

I have to say I’m a little disappointed we didn’t go back to 1991.

And we’re off again!
Whew…
Hope no pessimistic souls left…. but if they did, they may find their way back, if they notice that the strip still updates every day.
I don’t remember this one, even though I was already here.
I thought, too, that they’d start back a little farther…
Not 1991, because the GoComics archive of them only goes back to 2002…
They may not own syndication rights to those first ten years.
Don’t forget that this website exists to help sell comics to newspapers and other print media.
With the strip going into reruns, and not knowing whether some papers might be dropping it, I doubt they’d be increasing their investment right now.
It’s possible that they wanted to run strips that were already colored… though that started in 2011, I think.
Maybe at some point if the reruns are successful, they’ll color the older strips and we’ll see those too.
I don’t think they’ll run them in black and white…. but who knows.
Anyway…. the main thing is….
While Jerry, hopefully, enjoys a well deserved retirement….
We’re still here!
Cheers!

Ballard Street gulls tend to be on the larger size.

My thoughts went to Aeneas and the Harpies, but I really like Baslim the Beggar’s comment the best.
